Recreational Pilot Log app for iPhone and iPad

This application provides simple flight logging based primarily on recording your start and end hobbs meter reading for a single aircraft.

The recorded logs are stored in a simple database on your device and can be emailed at anytime for entry into your official logbook.

Some additional features are that by entering in the date of your last 100 hourly, a countdown will be provided to you that reminds to conduct your 100 hourly maintenance check.

Also as we have to report the total number of hours flown in a year, you can set the date and hours last reported to your organisation and on one page you will have a total of the hours flown to date for that period.

We have tried to make the event a single touch event. You touch the big green button when you start the flight and the hobbs hour reading from your last flight is entered. You can change this starting amount to match the start or your recording year, or the start of a page in your log book.
